Worthing Homes + The SAND Project: Nurturing IT talent

Summer is traditionally a time for rest and relaxation, but at Worthing Homes, it's been a season of growth and opportunity, particularly for two talented young individuals: Matt and Jack. These budding IT professionals have been honing their skills and gaining invaluable experience thanks to a fruitful collaboration between Worthing Homes and The SAND Project.

The SAND Project, renowned for its commitment to empowering young people through practical work experiences, has found an enthusiastic and supportive partner in Worthing Homes. CEO Donna Cezair was onboard with the initiative from the get-go, recognising the immense potential of such a partnership. Donna's forward-thinking approach has always been about fostering community ties and investing in future talent, and this collaboration was a perfect fit.

The result of this partnership has been nothing short of inspiring. Over the Summer term, Matt and Jack, both trainees from The SAND Project, have been immersed in the dynamic and ever-evolving world of IT within Worthing Homes. Under the expert guidance of Andy Conway, the IT department not only welcomed these apprentices but has thrived with their fresh perspectives and eager contributions.
